    <Hand 1> Pair<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    If your starting hand is a pair, if even one of those numbers appears in the community cards (the shared cards for all players), you get ‘Three of a Kind (three cards of the same number),’ which dramatically increases your win rate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Getting a pair is ideal, but since it’s a matter of luck, try not to expect it too much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    <Hand 2> High Pair<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Tip: What to do when you get a pair in your starting hand?<\/strong><\/strong>

    Try to make your move to reduce the number of participants as much as possible.

    This is because your win rate increases the fewer participants there are.

    For example, if a pair of 10s comes in your starting hand, the overall win rate (combined win rate across various player counts) is ‘33.9%,’ but in a 1-on-1 it becomes ‘75.1%’ \u2014 more than double the win rate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    <Hand 3> Suited<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    When you get a connector hand, not only is there no gap to draw, but the fact that ‘the number of straights you can make is different’ is also why a smaller gap is better.

    For example, compare 7-8 and 4-7:

    If you hold 7 and 8, you can make 4 straights: 4-5-6-7-8, 5-6-7-8-9, 6-7-8-9-T, 7-8-9-T-J. But if you hold 4 and 7, you can only make 2 straights: 3-4-5-6-7, 4-5-6-7-8.

    There are 1,020 combinations per straight, so the number of combinations itself only differs by 2, but looking at the overall total, it makes a big difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
